When starting a new conversation the user is asked to identify what the topic of the conversation is. They do this by choosing from a list of “categories”. These categories are setup and maintained through the Manage Pick Lists functionality.
This article gives some example categories that you might like to consider including some specifically for NHS Trusts and then for clients in other sectors.
Default Categories
When the system is first setup it is delivered with a default list of categories. These are as follows:
- Employment Terms/Benefits
- Finance Matters
- General
- Governance
- Leadership
- Operations
- Resources to do my Job
- Strategy
These are very broad and may not suit your business which is why you can change these via Manage Pick Lists.
For NHS Trusts
For those Trusts that are using WorkInConfidence with their Freedom to Speak Up Guardian(s) and reporting back to the National Guardian’s Office (NGO) then you will find the following categories useful as they form part of the reporting requirements to the NGO:
- Patient safety/quality
- Bullying or harassment
