Release Notes (v6.14.2) – 31st March 2021

This release focuses on helping users keep their accounts secure by highlighting when an account has been locked due to suspicious activity on login. The app now also prevents password reuse when it has been part of a known third party breach. Please see https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords for more details.

In addition to the usual bug fixes, accessibility and performance improvements the list below covers the major changes in this release:

  • ENH: When creating a passwords they are now checked to see if they have been part of any third party breach and if so prevented from being reused
  • ENH: Accounts are now locked after three incorrect two-factor authentication attempts
  • ENH: When an account is locked after three incorrect access attempts an email is sent to the user to highlight and allow them to reset their password
  • BUG: Custom bullet points weren’t being display on login page
