This version introduces a number of new features, changes to improve the user interface as well as renaming the platform from SpeakInConfidence to WorkInConfidence. This name change allows us to better reflect the growing functionality being added in addition to the speaking up capabilities.
In addition to the usual bug fixes and performance improvements the list below covers the major changes in this release:
- ENH: Change in naming from SpeakInConfidence to WorkInConfidence
- ENH: Improved function menu on the left hand side which is no longer completely hidden when collapsed
- ENH: Dashboard improved to include panels guiding users depending on their role and the modules an organisation has enabled
- ENH: Read receipts. Now you can see whether the other party has read your response
- ENH: Time-out warning message. The Message History page now warns you how long you have to respond
- ENH: User upload: Excel spreadsheets as well as CSV files can now be uploaded
- ENH: User upload: you can now drag and drop a file onto the page to upload
- ENH: User upload: files can now have additional columns of attributes associated with a user
- ENH: Get Feedback: this has been renamed from Raise a Question
- ENH: Get Feedback: you can now choose to ask for feedback that goes to the discussion board rather than a conversation
- ENH: Get Feedback: when sending by the system you can choose to send to any user with attributes added via User upload
- ENH: Admin: new roles have been created including a new role that allows reporting without being an administrator
- ENH: Improvements to the speed on saving a new conversation comment
As part of this release we have also updated the user guide to cover all the features and to make it clearer.
